Auto Tech has been family owned and operated since opening in 1984 by Steve & Debbie Dauzart. The Dauzart’s started in a small 8×10 portable building and a quarter acre lot for salvage vehicles and parts. The inventory was by memory only. Since then, the company has grown much in size and knowledge. Auto Tech now has a 13 acre yard for inventory, a warehouse stocked with parts, and a computerized inventory system.

The roots run even deeper for Auto Tech. Belton Dauzart, Steve’s father, has been in the automotive business since his younger years when he was a mechanic in the military and later worked for a local dealership.

The automotive business has been carried on for three generations in the Dauzart family, from Belton to Steve to Steve’s son, Hummer. Hummer has been raised in the salvage yard industry, even getting off the school bus as a child at the family business. Although Auto Tech has grown and changed over the years, some things have remained the same, our commitment to  keeping our community and customer’s vehicles looking great and running safe!
